Algiers, 1 July 2025 – Côte d’Ivoire’s Ambassador to Algeria, Alphonse Voho Sahi, paid a courtesy visit to the African Union of Broadcasting Content Exchange Centre in Bouchawi, Algiers, to learn more about its mission and operations.

He was welcomed by Centre Director Karima Chelbi, who presented the role of the Centre in strengthening media cooperation among African countries through the AUBVision platform, a dynamic space for the exchange of audiovisual content between AUB member broadcasters.

Ms Chelbi explained that the Centre seeks to promote African media integration and present a realistic and positive image of the continent by sharing official content that reflects Africa’s cultural diversity and heritage.

The Ambassador praised the efforts of the African Union of Broadcasting and the Algiers Content Exchange Centre, highlighting its role in building a more professional African media ecosystem and helping journalists produce content that reflects the continent’s identity.

During the visit, he toured the Centre’s technical and administrative departments and received a presentation on AUBVision, which now connects 85 member organisations and has hosted more than 6,000 items for exchange during the year.
