The 7th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) will be held from January 13 to February 4, 2023, in Algeria. After the draw ceremony held at the Algiers Opera on October 1, 2022, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) released the competition schedule. The opening match will oppose the host country, Algeria to the Libyan selection, on January 13, 2023, at 5 p.m., at the Baraki stadium; with a capacity of 40,784 covered places, located southeast of Algiers. Three other sports venues have been selected for the competition. These include the Miloud Hadefi stadium in Oran, with a capacity of 40,143 seats, the Chadid Hamlaoui stadium in Constantine, also called the 17 June stadium, with a capacity of 22,986 seats and finally, the 19 May 1956. Located in the east of Algeria, it is considered the second largest stadium in the country, with a capacity of 56,000 seats. Download PDF
