Dakar, Senegal – The 2nd Summit of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) on the role of media in the fight against climate change, which will be held in Dakar on February 13th and 14th, 2025, will welcome an engaged and passionate voice: Maimouna Modibo Timbo. Journalist and Director of the radio La Voix du Sahel (The Voice of the Sahel) in Niger, she will bring her expertise and experience to a crucial panel entitled “Indigenous Knowledge and Cultural Narratives: Reflecting and Shaping Community Perspectives on Resilience and Adaptation Strategies to Climate Change through Radio Broadcasts.”
