As part of the preparations for the Summit on Artificial Intelligence organized by the African Union of Broadcasting, a delegation from the AUB was received in audience on January 10, 2024, in Yaoundé, by the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications of Cameroon, Ms. Minette Libom Li Likeng.

For the AUB, it was a question of ensuring the effective involvement of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in the preparations for this major meeting, the very first, on African soil, on the role of artificial intelligence in the media.

Scheduled for March 4 to 6, 2024, in Yaoundé, the AUB Summit on AI and the media is above all a meeting of the greatest men of science in this field; it is the comparison of research results and their application within the media.

After this step, the AUB delegation plans other meetings with members of the Cameroonian government.
