Dakar, 7 November, 2025. The African Union of Broadcasting (AUB) in partnership with RT Academy, the training center of Russia Today (RT), is proud to announce the launch of a cutting-edge, hands-on training programme. This joint initiative aims to address the imperative of telling Africa’s story authentically and to strengthen the capacity of African broadcasters to produce high-quality content with strong export potential.

The Urgent Need for Technical Skills Development

This training programme stands out for its innovative approach and its focus on key themes of modern production:

Technical mastery of filming: Emphasis will be placed on the secrets of filming and the physics of the process (filming techniques), enabling participants to achieve cinematic production quality.

These inaugural three-week sessions will cover four distinct themes and will be led by four international expert trainers. The intensive format is designed to guarantee total immersion and rapid acquisition of technical skills.
