Experts from fifteen countries in North Africa and the Middle East met in Algiers to brainstorm on the difficulties and advances witnessed so far in the fight against breast cancer. The congress held from 04 to 05 March 2023 at the Algiers’ Marriott Hotel in the presence of the representative of the Algerian Minister of Health, the Representative of the World Health Organization in Algeria, Scholars, representatives of pharmaceutical firms and laboratories as well as representatives of the African Union of Broadcasting (AUB). The two-day Agenda also comprised of Advocacy, exchanges, sharing of experiences, commitment opportunities, financing of activities (scholarships, surveys), sharing of information on the plague, communication and legal framework. The congress was organized by El Amel-CPMC (Centre Pierre et Marie Curie), an association specialized in the fiht against breast cancer based in Algeria.
