The 44th ordinary General Assembly of the Arab States Broadcasting Union opened in Hammamet, Tunisia, with the participation of AUB Director General Grégoire Ndjaka.
Ndjaka stressed the importance of cooperation between AUB and ASBU, particularly through content exchange on AUBVision and ASBUCloud. He reaffirmed AUB’s commitment to participating in joint initiatives under the cooperation agreements linking the two unions.
ASBU Director General Abd Rahim Suleiman praised coordination among broadcasting unions and highlighted the progress made by AUB in content exchange despite the relative youth of its platform.
The first day included presentation of ASBU’s administrative and financial reports, its 2024 achievements, news and programme exchange, training initiatives and economic projects.
