On 29 April 2025 at 09:00 GMT, the African Union of Broadcasting organised the second session of its training series on male cancers.
The 120-minute session focused on “Ethics and Media Coverage”, providing media professionals with practical tools and good practices for informing and raising public awareness responsibly.
The session was moderated by Awatef Dali, senior journalist and former CEO of Tunisian Television, known for her experience in political communication, crisis communication and television production.
The initiative, organised by the AUB Foundation Against Cancer, targeted editors, reporters, journalists and focal points of the AUBVision platform. It followed the first session held on 15 April with Dr Berrhouma Sami, President of the Tunisian Society of Urology.
The programme aims to strengthen journalists’ ability to address male cancers with accuracy, ethics and sensitivity.
